CK Group, a leading science, clinical, and technical organization, is seeking a highly skilled Biosafety Officer to support the delivery of their Health and Safety strategy in East London.

About the Role:

  • Oversee and advise on the management and operation of Containment Level 2 and 3 facilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide expert guidance and training to all levels of the business, focusing on biosafety best practices.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to support science, operational laboratory, and clinical teams in maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Lead audits and inspections, working with risk owners to identify and mitigate potential risks.

About You:

  • Hold a degree in a relevant scientific subject or a PhD in Biological Science.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements for Containment Level 2 and 3 laboratories.
  • Have working experience with risk management processes, including risk assessments for biological pathogens.
