CK Group- Science, Clinical and Technical is seeking an experienced Biosafety Officer to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Role:

  • Support the delivery of the Health and Safety strategy for Biological safety, overseeing and advising on the management and operation of Containment level 2 and 3 facilities.
  • Provide guidance and training to all levels in the business and across all functional areas.
  • Work with key stakeholders to provide professional support to science, operational laboratory, and clinical teams.
  • Lead audits and inspections, working with risk owners to take action and mitigate risk.

Your Background:

  • Degree in a relevant scientific subject or PhD in Biological Science.
  • In-depth understanding of the regulatory requirements of containment levels 2 and 3 laboratories.
  • Working knowledge of performing risk management processes, including risk assessments for biological pathogens.
