Citi's Research Team is responsible for connecting institutional clients with corporates and industry experts, as part of our research advisory offering. The team works closely with equity sales, trading, and banking to provide targeted products that increase our ranking within institutions.

Job Purpose:

We are seeking an Executive Access Strategist to join Citi's EMEA Research Team, focusing on maximising corporate access for key institutional clients. This role requires strong Origination and Execution experience or a background in NDRs, with a growth opportunity to work directly with Research and Banking to originate more Access across specific sectors while executing NDRs to the highest standard.

  • Originate and execute corporate access strategies for specific sectors, working closely with Research, Sales, and Banking to maximise corporate access.
  • Prepare pitch presentations/roadshow proposals and build strong relationships with analysts and clients.
  • Regularly meet with sector analysts to stay informed about their activities, including trips, industry experts, and conferences.
  • Ensure seamless logistics (virtual, flights, hotels, car transfers) to make the best use of time.
  • Liaise with management during client engagements to ensure smooth operations.
  • Obtain feedback post-client engagement, compile it into a document, and share with management.
  • Produce sector statistics using Excel macros, collaborating with the wider team on projects supporting the Access Strategies Product.
  • Adhere to processes ensuring seamless execution, covering holidays and absences across the team.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in non-deal roadshows, investor trips, conference 1-1s, or fast-paced client-focused roles.
  • Banking experience.

Skill Requirements:

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Language Proficiency:

  • Excellent English communication skills (oral and written).
  • Fluent foreign language (beneficial but not essential).

Competencies:

  • Complete ownership of projects from start to finish.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills, meeting tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn and go above expectations, working flexible hours to cover global time zones.

Estimated Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum.
