Young People Support Advisor

We are seeking a dedicated Young People Support Advisor to join our team at Inspire Education Group. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people.

About the Role:

  • Safeguarding and wellbeing: As part of our safeguarding team, you will ensure student safety and provide mental health support.
  • Supporting vulnerable students: Contribute to wrap-around support for Children in Care, Young Carers, Care Leavers, Young Parents, and those with medical needs.
  • Enrichment and support: Contribute to vibrant student life by supporting relevant wellbeing events, activities, and initiatives.
  • Qualifications and experience: We require a Mental Health First Aid (Youth) qualification and Level 2 Safeguarding qualification or commitment to achieve within 6 months. Relevant qualifications such as mental health, learning support, working with young people, health and social care, mentoring are also desirable. Experience working with young people, adults, and/or vulnerable adults, and experience in safeguarding or child protection are essential.
  • Passion and enthusiasm: You must be passionate about supporting young people and creating a positive learning environment.

Benefits:

  • Estimated salary: £24,766 per annum.
  • 30 days annual leave, plus Christmas close down.
