Pallet Network Operations Manager
We are seeking a skilled Pallet Network Operations Manager to join our team at Knowles Transport.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage the effective movement of freight around the local area, including providing strong planning of the operational logistics arm of the business.
- Work closely with the planning team to ensure the effective running of the day-to-day Knowles Transport Pallet Network fleet.
- Communicate effectively with the team to meet the demands of the network and provide the best customer service possible to internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and problem-solve any issues that may occur, including communicating efficiently with drivers.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a fast-paced transport or logistics environment.
- Awareness of Operator Licensing and up-to-date knowledge of compliance regulations.
- PC literate with a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work and hours.
