About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Domestic Abuse Navigator to join our team at Trident Housing Association Limited. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in delivering individualized and person-centered support to individuals and families affected by domestic abuse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver flexible support across South Derbyshire, working with individuals and families in temporary dispersed refuge accommodation and within the local community.
  • Provide specialist support to people who have experienced domestic abuse, utilizing a person-centered approach and a positive 'can do' attitude.
  • Develop effective working relationships with colleagues and professionals within partner agencies, ensuring seamless collaboration and support.
  • Assess and manage risk using the CAADA/DASH framework, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
  • Work closely with the team to share duty day cover and provide comprehensive support to clients.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and customer-focused skills, with the ability to develop effective relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Experience in providing specialist support to individuals and families affected by domestic abuse, with a strong understanding of the complexities of the issue.
  • Ability to work flexibly across South Derbyshire, with a strong understanding of the local community and its needs.
  • Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, support planning software, and database management.
  • Experience of working with vulnerable populations, with a strong understanding of the importance of confidentiality and discretion.
