We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Domestic Abuse Navigator to join our team at Trident Housing Association Limited.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and person-centered support to aid the recovery, healing, and resilience of individuals and families affected by domestic abuse.
  • Work collaboratively with clients to identify and address their needs, providing tailored support and guidance to minimize the risk of future harm.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local agencies and services to ensure a comprehensive support network for clients.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and create personalized support plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to clients, promoting their independence and self-sufficiency.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with vulnerable populations, particularly those affected by domestic abuse.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
  • Strong knowledge of domestic abuse dynamics, trauma, and recovery principles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of clients.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
