Care Home Chef Manager Opportunity

Location: Godalming, England

Salary: Up to £31,000

Hours: 40 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef Manager to lead our culinary team in a care home setting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and develop a high-performing kitchen team
  2. Manage food and labour costs to ensure efficiency and profitability
  3. Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs of our residents
  4. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
  5. Oversee the main kitchen and menu development
  6. Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a positive reputation for the care home
  7. Maintain accurate records and reports as required
Ideal Candidate
  1. Previous experience as a Chef Manager or Head Chef in a care home or similar environment
  2. OND or HND qualified in a culinary discipline
  3. Proven track record of managing a kitchen team and delivering high-quality food
  4. Knowledge of health and safety practices and company policies
  5. Excellent communication and leadership skills
