About Our Legal Team

Our legal team plays a crucial role in overseeing and addressing all legal aspects related to the global technology division that supports our in-person events.

Position Overview

In the role of Legal Advisor, you will actively identify legal challenges and implications arising from our business dealings, guiding the development and implementation of digital solutions. Your expertise will be vital in supporting our global technology operations and digital initiatives related to our in-person events, while effectively escalating issues and risks as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

Offering legal assistance for a diverse range of technology licenses, services, and digital product solutions Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and interpreting various contracts and legal documents, including international technology procurement and licensing agreements Collaborating closely with digital service solution managers to provide legal and business advice on service developments and relevant laws Partnering with Privacy and Information Security teams to ensure compliance with legal standards regarding personal data and confidential information Delivering timely and insightful legal counsel on potential risks and challenges, proposing practical, business-oriented solutions Keeping abreast of the latest legal developments in technology procurement and digital services

Qualifications

Experience in product services law and regulatory compliance related to technology solutions Understanding of the assessment, development, launch, and scaling of enterprise-focused products Proven experience in digital law, with a solid grasp of technology agreements Familiarity with UK, US, and international laws concerning content, privacy, intellectual property, and consumer protection Ability to translate complex legal concepts for Engineering and Product teams Capacity to enhance established processes and systems to foster collaboration and efficiency Minimum of three years of relevant post-qualification experience
