Job Title: Senior Data Analyst

Job Summary:

Venn Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analysing data from various sources to help the Trust improve its services, performance, quality, and safety.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collecting, validating, and integrating data from various sources, such as electronic patient records, clinical systems, surveys, audits, and national datasets.
  • Applying appropriate statistical and analytical methods and tools to analyse and interpret data, such as descriptive and inferential statistics, data mining, data modelling, and data visualisation.
  • Responding to ad hoc data requests and queries from internal and external stakeholders, ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and confidentiality.
  • Identifying and investigating data quality issues and anomalies and proposing and implementing solutions to improve data quality and integrity.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of data standards, policies, and systems, such as data dictionaries, data governance frameworks, and data quality assurance processes.

Requirements:

  • Advanced skills in using data analysis software and tools, such as SQL, Excel, R, Python, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex data and concepts in a simple and engaging way.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work with large and complex datasets and ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and address data issues and anomalies and provide evidence-based solutions and recommendations.
  • Time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
