Job Summary

Octane Recruitment Careers is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician Professional to join our fleet maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle repair and maintenance, with a focus on delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a variety of vehicles, including trucks and vans. You will also liaise with workshop controllers and managers to ensure efficient workflow and collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair complex vehicle faults using advanced diagnostic tools
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes and tire rotations
  • Liaise with customers to understand their vehicle needs and provide solutions
  • Contribute to the development of best practices and procedures within the workshop

Requirements:

  • Level 3 NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified vehicle technician
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues

Salary: £38,000 - £48,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including enhanced holiday entitlement, great working conditions, and opportunities for career advancement.
