Job Title: Veterinary Specialist Position
At GLG Vets, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Vet Surgeon specializing in Small Animal to join our team. This is a locum position requiring the successful candidate to provide top-notch care to our patients in a supportive and well-equipped environment.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Delivering high-quality veterinary care to small animals in accordance with best practices of veterinary medicine.
- Diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
- Communicating effectively with pet owners, providing them with guidance on preventive care and treatment plans.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records.
- Collaborating with veterinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Veterinary degree from an accredited institution.
- Current license to practice as a veterinarian in the UK.
- Strong diagnostic, surgical, and medical skills, with experience in small animal care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Shift Patterns: Monday (08:45-18:45), Friday (08:45-18:45)
