Veterinary Specialist for Small Animal Care

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Specialist to join our team at GLG Vets in Axminster, Devon. This is a locum position starting with 3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver High-Quality Care: Provide top-notch veterinary care to small animals in accordance with best practices of veterinary medicine.
- Diagnose and Treat Conditions: Diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with pet owners, providing them with guidance on preventive care and treatment plans.
- Maintain Medical Records: Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
- Collaborate with Teams: Collaborate with veterinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
- Veterinary degree from an accredited institution.
- Current license to practice as a veterinarian in the UK.
- Strong diagnostic, surgical, and medical skills, with experience in small animal care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Wednesday: 08:00 - 19:00
Thursday: 08:00 - 19:00
Friday: 08:00 - 19:00
- Competitive locum rates (£50-60 per hour).
