We are seeking a skilled and experienced veterinary specialist to join our team in Devon. This is a locum position with 3 days per week, starting from October 2024.

Job Overview

As a dedicated veterinary specialist, you will provide top-notch care to small animals in a supportive and well-equipped environment. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality veterinary care to small animals in accordance with the best practices of veterinary medicine.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high-quality veterinary care to small animals in accordance with the best practices of veterinary medicine.
  • Diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
  • Communicating effectively with pet owners, providing them with guidance on preventive care and treatment plans.
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records.
  • Collaborating with veterinary teams to provide comprehensive care.

The ideal candidate will possess a veterinary degree from an accredited institution and hold a current license to practice as a veterinarian in the UK. Strong diagnostic, surgical, and medical skills, with experience in small animal care, are essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also required. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team.
