About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Operations Manager to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the day-to-day management of outpatient services, ensuring high standards of administration and data quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the management of waiting lists, ensuring best practice is applied in line with national recommendations.
  • Develop access plans for patients at risk of breach, working closely with relevant staff to implement these plans.
  • Provide expert analysis using query tools to monitor and forecast capacity and demand within the Trust.
  • Attend regular meetings with the Patient Contact Centre to ensure accurate information is available for rebooking patient appointments.
  • Participate in theatre planning meetings to ensure cover for all theatre lists and effective communication with theatre staff.
  • Manage a team of staff, providing training, development, and appraisal opportunities.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have people management experience, with a strong understanding of 18-Week Referral to Treatment (RTT) policies. A management qualification or experience would be highly desirable.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £62,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including pension scheme, annual leave, and access to a wide range of training and development opportunities.
