Job Summary

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of providing high-level administrative support. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating complex projects, managing calendars, and preparing presentations and reports. Your expertise in budget analysis and expense tracking will also be essential in supporting our department's financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Project Coordination
    • Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and effective communication with stakeholders.
    • Develop and implement project plans, setting clear objectives and milestones.
  • Calendar Management
    • Manage complex calendars, prioritizing meetings, events, and appointments while minimizing conflicts.
    • Coordinate travel arrangements, logistics, and catering services as needed.
  • Communication and Presentation
    • Prepare engaging presentations, reports, and correspondence using various software applications.
    • Animate presentations to enhance deliverability and impact.
  • Financial Operations
    • Support budget development and expense tracking, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
    • Process payments, verify expenses, and monitor Pro-card activity.
  • Research and Analysis
    • Conduct research, analyze data, and compile information to prepare reports and presentations.
    • Synthesize material to present findings and recommendations.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure divisional website relevance and currency.
    • Provide technical expertise in University-supported software applications.
  • Leadership and Problem-Solving
    • Act as a lead role or provide support for special projects, committees, events, awards, or other activities.
    • Attend meetings, take minutes, and furnish them as requested.
    • Resolve routine and complex problems with minimal consultation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (two years of full-time experience in the same or similar position is equal to one (1) year of completed post-high school education coursework).
  • Three (3) years of experience providing senior-level administrative support.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, Visio, Zoom, AV Technologies, and website editing.
  • Experience in maintaining confidential records and knowledge of office management principles and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $66,560 - $71,303 per year. All applicants who receive a conditional offer of employment are required to execute a release and authorization for a background screening.
