Job Title: HR Administrator

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced HR Administrator to join our team at News UK. As an HR Administrator, you will be responsible for providing first-line HR support and administration to our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice and assistance to employees, line managers, and HR Business Partners
  • Maintain accurate HR records on SAP, including identifying and correcting errors
  • Coordinate and process new starters and leavers
  • Process maternity, paternity, adoption, and shared parental leave cases
  • Maintain accurate benefit information via the BenefitsHub platform
  • Compile and update employee records, ensuring compliance with UK data protection legislation
  • Log and monitor sickness and absence
  • Produce letters and draft contracts for contractual changes
  • Compile redundancy calculation costs
  • Answer Subject Access Requests
  • Build and manage relationships with stakeholders
  • Work closely with payroll to answer payroll-related queries

Requirements:

  • Previous HR administration experience
  • Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Previous experience with SAP desired but not essential
