Technical Sales Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Engineer to join our team in the Bristol, Swindon, and Gloucester areas. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for promoting our range of high-quality cutting products and solutions to the Aerospace, Medical, Oil & Gas, and Manufacturing sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop existing strategic accounts directly and sell indirectly to customers via a distribution partner.
  • Solve technical problems, demonstrate and test tooling, and utilize your technical experience to form long-standing, mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager to achieve sales and profitability targets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.

Requirements:

  • Extensive metal cutting background, including CNC, programming, and machining.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a driven, winning mentality.
  • First-class communication and negotiation skills, combined with a driven, winning mentality.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative, with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • ONC/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering, or a technical apprenticeship combined with solid product and application knowledge.
