Executive Chef

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Guiseley Manor Care Centre, a purpose-built 72-bed care facility in the heart of west Yorkshire, Leeds. As a Chef, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality food services to our residents, ensuring their nutritional needs are met and their dining experience is enjoyable.

• Develop and implement menus that cater to the diverse needs and preferences of our residents.
• Ensure that meals are prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation.
• Manage kitchen inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan and execute special events and menus.

• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a care home or hospitality setting.
• Knowledge of specialized diets and food preparation techniques.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead by example.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• A competitive hourly rate of £12.75.
