About the Role

Fitzroy Support is seeking a highly skilled Deputy Service Director to lead and develop a team of support workers to deliver exceptional support services to individuals with learning disabilities and autism.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality and effectiveness of our services.
  • Work closely with local stakeholders to promote the involvement of our service users and their families.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the smooth operation of our services.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure our services remain innovative and effective.

Responsibilities

  • Service Development: Ensure person-centred approaches are in place to deliver outcomes that meet the needs and aspirations of our service users.
  • Team Management: Recruit, develop, and motivate staff members to deliver high-quality services.
  • Communication: Establish and maintain effective communication with our service users, their families, and local stakeholders.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the smooth operation of our services.

Requirements

  • Care sector experience is essential, preferably in a senior management role.
  • Excellent computer skills and attention to detail are required.
  • You will be highly customer-focused, a strong team player, and data-driven.
  • A valid driving license is also required as you will be required to travel to services in your area.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a pension scheme, generous holiday allowance, and opportunities for professional development.
