Pre-School Assistant Teacher

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Pre-School Assistant Teacher to join our Early Years Team in the Explorers Class. Our team is committed to providing high-quality education and care for children aged two to four.
About the Role
This role is ideal for someone who loves working with young children and has a passion for helping them establish the foundations for school life. As a Pre-School Assistant Teacher, you will work under the guidance of the Pre-School Leader to ensure that children enjoy activities that stimulate and engage their interests and learning. Your role will involve engaging with children to develop sustained, shared thinking and promoting effective learning strategies as defined in the EYFS framework.
Main Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of this role include:
- Preparing and maintaining our learning environment to provide a stimulating and engaging space for children.
- Carrying out routine tasks to support the work of teachers, HLTAs, and ATAs.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Level 2 Early Years Specific Professional Qualification, Grade C/4 GCSE in Maths & English or equivalent. We are looking for someone who is a professional who loves working with children and has a passion to see every child achieve their very best. You should be a team player who recognises the joy and challenges of working in a busy village Pre-School, with the drive and ambition to achieve excellent results. £24,027 - £25,183 per annum full-time equivalent salary, with an actual salary of approximately £12,329.97 - £12,923.20 per annum after pro-rata estimate based on the current rate of pay.
