Clinical Fellow in Renal Medicine Specialist

Job Overview
The post will be based at a major teaching hospital and will involve working closely with other clinical and medical professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
As a Clinical Fellow in Renal Medicine, you will be responsible for providing a first-class clinical service, leading a team of healthcare professionals, and contributing to teaching and research initiatives.
You will work in close collaboration with colleagues to provide a comprehensive service for patients with renal conditions, including treatment and management duties.
Shared responsibility for providing 24/7 cover for the unit on a rota basis, as well as covering colleagues' periods of annual leave and short-term sickness.
Participation in multidisciplinary meetings, contributing to audit and clinical governance programs, and responsible for outpatient clinic commitments in peripheral hospitals.
Contribute to the hospital's research interests in accordance with the Trust's R&D framework, and participate in morbidity and mortality, clinical governance programs, and learning from deaths.
Work in conjunction with clinical and other professional colleagues to ensure the productivity of staff within the specialty is maintained and their job satisfaction is enhanced.
Be aware of and comply with all hospital infection prevention and control policies, including hand hygiene, personal hygiene, environmental, and food hygiene.
