Job Title: Locum Consultant

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Consultant to join our Neurology team at Medway NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role: As a Locum Consultant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with medical colleagues to provide inpatient support and outpatient services. You will also have the opportunity to develop your own area of specialist interest and provide sub-specialty expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective and compassionate care for our Neurology patients.
  • Work closely with medical colleagues to provide inpatient support and outpatient services.
  • Develop your own area of specialist interest and provide sub-specialty expertise.
  • Collaborate closely with the Tertiary service at Kings College Hospital.
  • Work with the Clinical Director and General Manager to review current working practices and drive forward innovative changes to develop new models of care.
  • Get involved in clinical research, teaching, and development.
  • Provide expert advice and support regarding complex cases to clinical colleagues in primary and secondary care.
  • Adhere to and contribute to The Trust's vision and values.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in Neurology and excellent communication skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team and be able to adapt to changing circumstances.
