About the Role

NHS Scotland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Specialist in Addiction Medicine to join our team. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing expert care and treatment to patients with addiction issues.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in addiction medicine and a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care. You will be expected to work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans and provide leadership and guidance to junior staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert care and treatment to patients with addiction issues
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff
  • Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong background in addiction medicine
  • Proven experience in delivering high-quality patient care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
