Job Summary:

As a valued member of the John Lewis Partnership, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our Customer Delivery team as a Customer Delivery Driver. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by providing a professional and courteous manner to customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty to the John Lewis Partnership.

  • Operate a 7.5T vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.

  • Load and unload goods accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all items are properly secured and protected during transportation.

  • Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects or issues to the relevant authorities.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Valid C1 driving license with a maximum of 6 points.

  • Previous driving experience in a similar role.

  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.

  • Able to lift and move heavy objects safely and efficiently.
