Senior Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Wakefield. As a key member of our commercial delivery team, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of a portfolio of infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the procurement and management of subcontractor applications and payments.
  • Produce and present monthly CVRs, advising on commercial influences and changes required to ensure profit targets are met.
  • Develop and implement changes to process where needed to improve project performance.
  • Negotiate effectively both internally and at client level.
  • Manage early warning and compensation event processes.
  • Manage and support other commercial team members.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5+ years' commercial experience supporting the delivery of infrastructure or general civil engineering projects.
  • Experience of and strong working understanding of NEC forms of contract.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Relevant quantity surveying or commercial management degree desirable.
