Senior Quantity Surveyor

A leading infrastructure contractor is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Wakefield. The successful candidate will play a key role in the commercial delivery of a portfolio of works as part of a major regional water framework.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the procurement and management of subcontractor applications and payments.
- Produce and present monthly CVRs, advising on commercial influences and changes required to ensure profit targets are met.
- Develop and implement changes to process where needed to improve project performance.
- Negotiate effectively both internally and at client level.
- Manage early warning and compensation event processes.
- Manage and support other commercial team members.

The company offers a portfolio of projects ranging in value from £100k to £10m as part of a major regional water framework, including infrastructure, customer-focused, and minor civil engineering clean and waste water capital works.
Candidate Requirements:- Minimum of 5+ years' commercial experience supporting the delivery of infrastructure or general civil engineering projects.
- Experience of and strong working understanding of NEC forms of contract.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, subcontractors, and clients.
- Relevant quantity surveying or commercial management degree desirable.
