We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cost management strategies to ensure project financial efficiency.
  • Manage and negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Conduct cost analysis and financial reporting to ensure project targets are met.
  • Monitor and manage project cash flows and budgets.
  • Identify and assess commercial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant construction regulations and legislation.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure project success.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in cost management software and financial reporting tools.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS) is preferred.
  • Full UK driving license.
