Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Supervisor to join our client's expanding team in the UK. As a leading mechanical and electrical engineering company, they offer an excellent opportunity for a leader who will maintain high standards of quality and safety while managing the workshop production efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage workshop production to ensure all projects are manufactured within quoted and budgeted man hours.
  • Uphold health and safety standards, conduct safety inspections, and ensure the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of welding procedures and ensure works are carried out in accordance with engineering standards and documentation.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Workshop Supervisor in a similar role.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as City & Guilds, ideally within the heavy fabrication industry.
  • Proficiency in working to Engineering standards and demonstrating technical knowledge with practical application.
  • A reasonable degree of computer literacy.
