Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Delivery Management Specialist to oversee daily transport operations and ensure efficient coordination of deliveries and pickups. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a similar role, knowledge of transport regulations, and excellent organisational and time management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement efficient delivery strategies to reduce costs and improve delivery times
  • Manage a team of logistics coordinators to ensure seamless day-to-day operations
  • Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to resolve transportation issues
  • Ensure all transportation documentation is properly completed and filed
  • Monitor driver performance, vehicle maintenance, and compliance with safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Transport Administrator or in a similar role within the logistics or transport industry
  • Knowledge of transport regulations and best practices
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Driving capabilities are an advantage but not essential
  • Strong computer skills

Salary: £38,000 - £48,000 per annum
