Job Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Retail Assistant to join our team at RAF Brize Norton, Carterton. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our convenience store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell products and operate the till system efficiently
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors regarding stock management and store operations
  • Champion new ways of working and promote a positive attitude within the store
  • Support offers, promotions, and loyalty schemes
  • Perform cleaning duties and maintain a high level of store cleanliness
  • Confidently challenge customers who appear under 25 when purchasing restricted items

Requirements

  • Previous retail experience is beneficial, but not essential
  • Contribute to store sales and cost control
  • Develop good product knowledge and services across the store
  • Utilize digital tools and applications effectively
  • Understand customer needs and identify selling opportunities
  • Adapt to changing circumstances

Package Details

  • Hours per week
  • Monday to Thursday - shifts between 07:30-00:30
  • Fridays - shifts between 07:30-16:30
  • Fixed Term Contract
  • £ per hour
  • Car parking available on site
