Job Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Retail Assistant to join our team at RAF Brize Norton, Carterton. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our convenience store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell products and operate the till system with accuracy and efficiency
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors regarding stock management, including deliveries, replenishment, and stock rotation
  • Champion new ways of working within the store through a positive attitude and open-minded approach
  • Support offers, promotions, and loyalty schemes to drive sales and customer engagement
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including facilities and forecourt
  • Confidently challenge customers who appear under 25 when purchasing restricted items
Requirements
  • Previous retail experience is beneficial, but not essential; we offer training and support to help you succeed
  • Contribute to store sales and cost control through effective product knowledge and services
  • Demonstrate a good level of digital capability and use of digital tools and applications
  • Understand customer needs and identify selling opportunities
  • Adapt to changing situations and priorities

Package Details
  • Hours per week
  • Monday to Thursday - shifts between 07:30-00:30
  • Fridays - shifts between 07:30-16:30
  • Fixed Term Contract
