Job Title: Software Developer

Bytes Software Services is seeking a skilled and motivated software developer to join our dynamic development team. As a software developer, you will play a key role in designing, coding, testing, and debugging software applications using C#, ASP.NET, and other related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain software applications, ensuring they meet the required standards and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and business analysts, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and debug software defects and issues in a timely manner.
  • Document technical documentation for new and existing applications.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve skills and the development process.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Contribute to the improvement of working practices and processes within the team.
Requirements:
  • Degree in a related field (desirable)
  • GCSE A-C in Mathematics and English (essential)
  • Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and.NET Core (at least 3 years of experience) (essential)
  • Knowledge of MVC frameworks and.NET API (essential)
  • Understanding of website security (essential)
  • Working with databases (SQL) (essential)
  • Experience of tracing errors over the full stack (essential)
  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English (essential)
  • Passionate about web technologies with an interest in E-Commerce (essential)
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new software systems (essential)
  • Experience with version control systems, preferably Git (essential)
