NET Developer Job Description

Bytes Software Services is a leading provider of world-class IT solutions, and we are seeking a skilled NET Developer to join our dynamic development team.

We work with SME's, corporates, and public sector organisations to modernise and digitally transform their IT infrastructures. Our team is using the React framework,.NET API's, and a MSSQL database within a microservice architecture.

As a NET Developer, you will be working within a cross-functional team to drive the continued growth of ecommerce sales and general development/maintenance of internal systems. You will have the opportunity to work across the whole stack and contribute to the development of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop NET applications using C#, ASP.NET, and other related technologies.
  • Work closely with other developers, QA engineers, and business analysts to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Review code written by peers to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and Debug: Identify and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
  • Shaping Business Requirements: The role will eventually require a good understanding of Bytes as a business and an expectation to help shape business requirements into user stories.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and.NET Core.
  • Understanding of website security.
  • Working with databases (SQL).
  • Experience of being able to trace errors over the full stack.
  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
  • Passionate about web technologies with an interest in E-Commerce.
  • An ability to learn quickly and adapt to new software systems.
  • Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
