Care & Support Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Care & Support Specialist to join our team at Cygnet Health Care.

About the Role

This full-time position, working 42 hours per week with 12 hour shifts including every other weekend, offers a unique opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs.

Located in a historical area of Leeds, Kirkside House is a specialist residential service providing outcome-focused care for adults who require support with daily living tasks and emotional well-being.

As a Care & Support Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering person-centred care, promoting independence, and ensuring the safety and well-being of residents. Your role will involve:

  • Offering enhanced care through flexible learning approaches tailored to individual needs
  • Providing guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support
  • Learining about resident-specific needs and providing assistance in the most appropriate way
  • Assisting with and reporting on medical and welfare needs
  • Safeguarding residents from harm or exploitation
  • Maintaining a safe and clean environment that promotes dignity and respect

Your salary will be competitive, reflecting your skills and experience. The estimated annual salary for this role is £28,000-£34,000 depending on location and qualifications.
