Mortgage Business Development Manager

Job Description:
This is a remote position in the UK.
As a Business Development Manager at MyWork, you will contribute towards developing new relationships within the intermediary market, whilst promoting our clients products: Protection Insurance, First Charge Mortgages, Secured Loans and Bridging.
Responsibilities:
- On-board new brokers to the intermediary panel
- Work closely with the Mortgage Customer Service Reps to develop a collaborative working environment and maintain healthy working relationships with your colleagues, along with external and internal stakeholders
- Identify new business opportunities while still maintaining existing broker relationships
- You must stay up to date with product knowledge, system developments and lending criteria
- Outbound calling to gain new business from brokers to gain updates and follow up on any new enquiries.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience as a telephone BDM within the mortgage industry
- Familiar with FCA regulations
- Knowledge of Mortgage Clubs, Mortgage Industry and Networks
- Proven experience of managing and building business relationships to increase market share within the mortgage industry
- A solid understanding of the mortgage lending criteria and delivering new enquiries to the teams' underwriters
- You must be able to analyse business trends, along with identifying any potential risks and escalating these where necessary
