About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Deputy Manager to join our team at Nairn House Care Home. As a Clinical Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing and assisting all aspects of nursing care and activities within the home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and assist all aspects of nursing care and activities within the home.
  • Create and update individual care plans for residents, maintaining clear, accurate, and up-to-date medication records.
  • Ensure adequate staffing is always maintained within the home.
  • Provide day-to-day support and guidance to the team, promoting residents' independence, choice, and dignity.
  • Build lasting relationships with residents and their families, as well as caring about the home itself and fostering a sense of community.
  • Liaise with local partners to raise the care home's profile in the local area and beyond.
Requirements
  • Hold a valid UK NMC pin and stay committed to the NMC Codes of Conduct and professional development.
  • Understand the impact of quality nursing care on residents' lives, promoting independence, choice, and dignity.
  • Stay up to date with tissue viability, infection control, and care planning.
  • Be able to build relationships, lead, mentor, and manage a team effectively.
  • Be excellent at prioritizing tasks and working efficiently as a compassionate team player.
