Main Responsibilities

The Clinical Deputy Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Enfield CRHTT, ensuring a high-quality responsive service to service users and referrers. This includes managing referrals, providing senior clinical input, and building internal and external interfaces with acute inpatient wards, psychiatric liaison teams, and other services.

Key Duties
  • Manage the single point of contact for referrals, ensuring effective triaging and screening of referrals and management of inappropriate referrals.
  • Assist the team manager with line management and budgetary responsibility for clinicians and admin staff.
  • Work closely with trust inpatient wards, DIT, Patient Flow, Psychiatric Liaison Teams, and community services to ensure the best use of resources and deliver the best care.
Person Specification
  • Registered with NMC as RMN, or Dip SW, or registered with HPC.
  • Mentorship qualification or equivalent.
Requirements
  • Significant experience working within Mental Health Services.
  • Experience of working in a multi-cultural environment and of involving users and carers ensuring culturally sensitive practice.
  • Experience of identifying, initiating, implementing, and managing effective practice.
