Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Entech Technical Solutions Ltd is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to lead the manufacturing system within our allocated manufacturing cells. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and continually improving safe and lean assembly and test processes for existing and new products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define, set up, and optimize processes within allocated manufacturing cells
  • Implement continuous improvement activities and projects
  • Design or optimize, prove, implement, and maintain cell layouts
  • Implement and maintain risk assessments for allocated manufacturing cells
  • Specification and purchasing of appropriate tooling and equipment
  • Ensure configuration control of operational documentation
  • Ownership and accountability to resolve or support any non-conformity
  • Elimination of routing and material variances
Requirements
  • Equivalent experience in a comparable role
  • Process documentation authoring and writing of procedures and work instructions
  • Experience in optimizing production processes and providing production support
  • Problem-solving skills and experience with root cause analysis tools
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively
  • IT literacy and proficiency in MS Office
Desirable Qualifications
  • Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering degree or engineering qualification
  • Experience in implementing Lean manufacturing principles
  • Tooling design and development skills
  • Technical knowledge including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatics
  • Basic CAD skills for layout design and design model interrogation
