As a Residential Care Services Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality care services across our care homes, ensuring that we meet the needs of our residents and exceed their expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Care Service Development: Work closely with our care teams to develop and implement care services that meet the needs of our residents.
- Leadership & Management: Lead a team of care professionals to deliver outstanding care services, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- Compliance & Safeguarding: Ensure that all aspects of our care services comply with regulatory requirements, including CQC standards, safeguarding policies, and legal obligations.
- Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets to ensure effective financial control and efficient use of resources within our care homes.
- Team Development: Recruit, train, and supervise staff, ensuring they are well-equipped to provide excellent care. Support staff through regular supervisions, training, and development opportunities.
- Resident Care & Wellbeing: Promote a person-centred approach to care that enhances the well-being, independence, and quality of life for all residents.
- Proven experience in managing a care team, preferably within a dementia care environment.
- In-depth knowledge of care industry standards, safeguarding, compliance, and CQC regulations.
- Proven experience of managing budgets and financial planning within a care setting.
- Demonstrable track record of delivering high-quality care in a residential care setting.
- Strong understanding of dementia care, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of residents.
