We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Residential Care Assistant to join our team at Adullam Homes Housing Association Ltd.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive environment, providing high-quality care and assistance to vulnerable individuals and households. As a Residential Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our residents.

You will be responsible for delivering person-centered care, supporting residents with daily living tasks, and promoting their independence and dignity. You will also contribute to the maintenance of a safe and secure living environment, adhering to our strict policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily living tasks, such as personal care, medication management, and meal preparation.
  • Support residents with activities of daily living, including mobility, communication, and social interaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident care and support plans.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
  • Participate in staff training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A commitment to delivering person-centered care and respecting the rights and dignity of residents.
