Property Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to join our Exeter team. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for managing a range of commercial properties in a local patch, undertaking inspections, arranging planned and reactive maintenance, overseeing rent payments, and organizing VAT returns and insurance.

The Role:
  • Manage a portfolio of commercial properties in Exeter and South Devon
  • Conduct regular site visits to meet with clients, outsource maintenance projects, collect rent, and conduct inspections
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of properties, ensuring they are in good condition and meet the required standards
  • Manage rent payments and chase any outstanding amounts
  • Organize VAT returns and insurance for the properties
The Person:
  • Commercial Property Manager with experience in managing a portfolio of properties
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of property management software and systems
  • Ability to travel regularly to site visits
