A temporary Accountant / Bookkeeper role is available in the Scarborough area, working for a well-established charity. The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day accounts, including general bookkeeping, profit & loss management, cash flow forecasting, and preparing the monthly Management Accounts. The role involves working in a busy small team, using Sage 50, and reporting to the senior leadership team.
Responsibilities:
- General bookkeeping and managing the Profit & Loss
- Cashflow forecasting and Pre payments and Accruals
- Preparing the monthly Management Accounts and Reporting for the Senior leadership team
- Monthly Payroll
Requirements:
- Previous use of Sage 50 is essential
- Charity experience is desirable, but not essential
- A good all-round accounting background as you will be in a stand-alone position
Contract Details:
- Full time, 37.5 hours a week
- Temporary contract for up to 3 months
- Possible hybrid working once established in the role
