Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

Estimated Salary: £11,400 per year

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at Post 2 Post Recruitment Ltd. This role will involve supporting the day-to-day operations of the finance department, ensuring smooth financial processes and excellent customer service.

The successful candidate will play a key part in managing customer queries, chasing payments, and raising credit notes. They will also be responsible for working with various accounting systems, including Therefore, Sage, and Protean, as well as handling general administration tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management:Manage customer accounts, chase payments, and resolve any related issues.
  • Customer Support:Provide exceptional customer service, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Documentation & Reporting:Create and send account statements, raise credit notes, and produce ad-hoc reports for management.
  • System Administration:Work with finance systems, ensuring data accuracy and system efficiency.
  • Administrative Support:Perform general administrative tasks, as required.

Requirements:

  • Accounts Experience:At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with credit control experience.
  • Software Skills:Familiarity with accountancy software, such as Sage, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Attention to Detail:A strong organisational skills with a self-motivated and disciplined approach to work.
  • Communication Skills:The ability to communicate effectively across teams and with customers.
