Job Summary

The Ground Network Services (GNS) agents support the execution of the GNS by managing daily truck operations and ensuring the smooth flow of GNS shipments through the network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system
  • Optimize route planning and truck utilization
  • Interact with customers (internal and external) in arranging their shipments, meeting customer service standards
  • Contribute to and maintain a good relationship with suppliers
  • Meet compliance at all times to regulations internal and external in accordance with government regulations
  • Understand department process flow, and look for best practices to improve operational efficiency and productivity
  • Ensure all standard operating procedures are in place
  • Meet KPI standards in accordance with the Company's procedures
  • Timely communication
  • Escalate problems to Management when necessary

Requirements

  • 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
  • Pro-active, strong organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Fluent in English
