Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Powertrain Concept Design and Integration Engineer to join our team at Contechs. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and integrating powertrain systems for our automotive clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop powertrain systems, including concept and full vehicle packaging and layout.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets mechanical and manufacturing requirements.
  • Develop and maintain design documentation, including geometric tolerancing and detailed design drawings.
  • Conduct risk assessments and DFMEA to ensure design meets safety and quality standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in powertrain design and integration.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in automotive design, with a focus on powertrain systems.
  • Proficiency in Catia V5 and other design software.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Fluency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education to degree level.
  • Experience with composite body design.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing techniques and fastening systems.
  • Ability to create detailed design drawings and geometric tolerancing.
