Job Title: Senior Design Consultant - Chassis

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Consultant - Chassis to join our team at Contechs, a leading automotive recruitment specialist. As a Senior Design Consultant - Chassis, you will be responsible for designing and developing automotive Powertrain and Chassis systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop Chassis concepts from styling surface release through to prototype and production parts.
  • Generate Chassis concepts using Catia V5 and other relevant tools.
  • Provide technical support for component and prototype development, and build.
  • Develop and specify GD&T data set on CAD models or drawings.
  • Creating presentation material for Design Reviews.
  • Producing detailed manufacturing drawings.
  • Design Sizing Analysis.
  • Sub system load analysis.
  • Joints and interface design.
  • Materials selection.
Requirements:
  • Experience designing and developing automotive Powertrain and Chassis systems.
  • Proficiency in Catia V5.
  • Low volume vehicle experience.
  • Supplier interface.
  • Develop and specify GD&T data set on CAD models or drawings.
  • Creating presentation material for Design Reviews.
  • Producing detailed manufacturing drawings.
  • Design Sizing Analysis.
  • Sub system load analysis.
  • Joints and interface design.
  • Materials selection.
