We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Consultant - Chassis to join our team at Contechs, a leading automotive recruitment specialist.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing automotive Powertrain and Chassis systems, with a focus on Chassis concepts from styling surface release through to prototype and production parts.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Generating Chassis concepts and providing technical support for component and prototype development.
  • Developing and specifying GD&T data sets on CAD models or drawings.
  • Creating presentation material for Design Reviews and producing detailed manufacturing drawings.
  • Design Sizing Analysis and Sub system load analysis.

As a Senior Design Consultant - Chassis, you will be part of a small well-integrated design team, responsible for the design of vehicle chassis systems.

Key qualifications and skills required include:

  • Experience designing and developing automotive Powertrain and Chassis systems.
  • Proficiency in Catia V5 and experience with low volume vehicle development.
  • Excellent communication and technical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
