**Role Overview:**
We are seeking an experienced and driven Account Executive to join our growing sales team, focusing on the mid-market segment. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling financial software solutions into multiple industries, engaging primarily with Chief Financial Officers (CFOs) and other finance executives.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Identify, target, and engage mid-market prospects, building a strong pipeline of potential clients within the office of the CFO.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with C-suite executives, establishing oneself as a trusted advisor in the financial solutions space.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations that address client needs.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline management, and forecast data within the CRM system.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and market shifts to identify new sales opportunities.
**Requirements:**
- Proven track record of success in sales, specifically selling financial software or solutions to C-suite executives.
- Experience selling into the mid-market segment with a focus on finance departments or the office of the CFO.
- Strong understanding of the accounts payable process and the challenges faced by finance teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and close deals effectively.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment, managing time and priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales analytics platforms.
