Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Ward Manager to join our team at Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assessment of needs, planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs of care for clients admitted to the ward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the needs of clients and develop individualized care plans
  • Supervise and support junior staff to ensure high-quality care
  • Deputize for the Ward Manager in their absence
  • Provide supervision and support to junior staff
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and legislation

Requirements:

  • First-level registration as an RMN/RNMH
  • Experience working in a mental health setting
  • Ability to work across the 24-hour shift pattern on a rotational basis
